After graduating from Kocaeli University Geophysics Engineering, Oral Başer, who started his career as a channel sales manager at Superonline, joined the DDTECH family in 2019 after various experiences and experiences. Today, we talked to Oral Başer, who continues to work as part of a dynamic team that provides consultancy to its customers on their digital transformation journeys, about their digitalization journeys and collaborations with Turkcell.
Mr. Oral, could you introduce your institution to us a little bit?
As DDTECH, we are focused on digital transformation solutions. Paperless, increasing efficiency, biometric recognition verification and high-featured image processing are our main business areas. At which points do you use new generation technologies more in the solutions you offer to your customers and business partners?
In the products and solutions we develop, we have a command of all technologies used today in world standards, especially in digital signature, biometric recognition and verification, high-featured image processing, which are our business areas. We proceed in our R&D processes by considering compliance with global certifications. In addition, we guarantee that we are 100% compliant with the regulations in Turkey in each of our products and that we will follow this process in possible revisions. In authentication technologies, we are able to make transactions via contactless chip, as well as verify people with image processing technology and prevent possible fraud cases. Our greatest value proposition is to be able to offer these products as integrated solutions that meet the needs of our customers and to focus on the expectations of our customers' own customers.
As you said, Digital Signature is an important area of your business. Can we consider this as a paperless solution in a sense?
Yes, we can evaluate; but it must be added. Today, we consider paperless as an increase in efficiency. For this, it is necessary to start with the digitalization of business processes first. Creating digital documents at the end of digital processes, performing identity verification, biometric verification processes and using digital signing technologies, without ignoring the user experience, constitute this experience as a whole. In summary, it is possible to manage this transformation end-to-end with the solutions we offer as DDTECH.
Well, can you tell us a little about the solutions you have implemented in this context?
As a result of our cooperation with Turkcell, the biometric signature technology that Turkcell has been using for all subscription transactions in its stores for more than 3 years, started to be offered to corporate customers with the "Turkcell Secure Digital Signature" application. We can give an example of the project we did with a gas distribution company customer in the energy sector, where the first examples of becoming paperless were experienced. Within the scope of the project, we ensure that contracts and other customer documents are biometrically signed with Secure Digital Signature at our customer's subscriber centers. In total, signatures are obtained from more than 200 tablets. Even when you consider only paper, printing, scanning and archiving costs, we save 10 million TL annually. In the projects we have done so far, the return on investment of our customers does not exceed 6 months. In addition to these benefits, they also receive very positive feedback from their customers as we improve the experience. The contribution of the elimination of paper consumption to the sustainability of nature is an important issue that should be considered for our country and the world.

As part of our cooperation with Turkcell, we developed Secure Digital Signature and Digital Archive products to be offered to corporate customers. We also have ongoing processes to introduce new products to the corporate market with the power of the Turkcell brand. In addition, we can position both other existing DDTECH products and the software we have developed specifically for institutions together with Turkcell teams on a project basis.
